Combine a broad Holy Land journey with the Roman streets of Jerash, Petra’s sandstone monuments and the mosaics and biblical traditions of Jordan.
- Route: Tel Aviv → Galilee → Dead Sea → Jerusalem → Bethlehem → Jerash → Amman → Petra → Madaba → Mount Nebo
- Tour Focus: Gospel landscapes, biblical geography, and Nabataean heritage
Important Historical and Biblical Context
The Holy Land brings together biblical landscapes, archaeological evidence and living religious traditions. Many churches commemorate events through longstanding tradition rather than identifying a location with certainty. The visible synagogue at Capernaum is later than the time of Jesus; Yardenit is a modern baptismal facility, distinct from the traditional baptism area near Jericho. Jordan adds the setting of biblical Moab, Roman Decapolis cities and the Nabataean civilization. Petra’s relationship to individual biblical place-names should not be treated as certain.
