Follow a journey from the Mediterranean coast and Galilee to the desert and Jerusalem, with an overnight beside the Dead Sea adding a change of pace.
- Route: Tel Aviv → Jaffa → Caesarea → Galilee → Dead Sea → Jerusalem → Bethlehem → Ben Gurion Airport
- Tour Focus: Gospel landscapes, pilgrimage, and a Dead Sea overnight
Important Historical and Biblical Context
The Holy Land brings together biblical landscapes, archaeological evidence and living religious traditions. Many churches commemorate events through longstanding tradition rather than identifying a location with certainty. The visible synagogue at Capernaum is later than the time of Jesus; Yardenit is a modern baptismal facility, distinct from the traditional baptism area near Jericho.
Places You’ll Visit
Tel Aviv • Jaffa • Caesarea • Galilee • Dead Sea • Jerusalem • Bethlehem • Ben Gurion Airport
Why This Route
The Dead Sea overnight breaks the journey south and allows the desert sites to form a meaningful stage of their own.
Who Is This Tour For
First-time Holy Land visitors, church groups and travelers seeking a broad biblical introduction.
Practical Information
Expect extensive walking, uneven ruins and steps. Visits along this route depend on local access and operating conditions. Worship, border requirements and restricted sites may affect the sequence. Temple Mount visits do not imply entry to the Dome of the Rock or Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is 8 days on the ground with 7 hotel nights; international travel may extend the overall journey. The coastal transfer day is demanding. Spa treatments and additional museum visits are optional. Accommodation, meals, transfers, entrance fees and flight inclusions are confirmed in the final quotation.
FAQ
Is Dead Sea floating guaranteed?
It depends on weather, access and the time available at the hotel.
Is Yardenit the historical baptism site of Jesus?
It is a modern baptismal facility; it should not be described as the established historical location.
Can we add an arrival night?
Yes. An extra Tel Aviv night can make the start more comfortable.
